Ahmed III
The sultan of the Tulip Period: the printing press, the fire brigade, ambassadors' reports and the effort to understand the West all belong to his reign. The Morea and Azov were retaken, but the Banat and Belgrade were ceded at Passarowitz; his reign ended in a revolt.

Death
Deposed in the Patrona Halil revolt of 1730, he died in Topkapı Palace in 1736.
